Loved that Chase was flawed and not some "has to be absolutely perfect as not to offend anybody" male romance character. Loved that the character had some real depth to him. If you could take any character from Chase the Storm out to dinner, who would it be and why?Ĭhase. Because of Hugh Bradley's performance, the audio book version rates just a tad higher for me than the actual book does. Having read the book before listening to the audio book, I enjoyed that Hugh Bradley was able to "shake off" the occasional "oh too girl-like" sound to Eli's dialogue and behavior, replacing it with a much more masculine feel. What about Hugh Bradley’s performance did you like? The conflicted emotions of the character Chase, a grieving widower, and how he deals with the feelings a younger man has for him. If you could sum up Chase the Storm in three words, what would they be?
